Rental management for entertainment and events
WisqRent is a rental management platform for the entertainment and event industry, bringing equipment, customers, projects, and orders into one workspace. The aim is to make it easier to follow a rental from the equipment on the shelf to the project it is needed for.
Built-in AI helpers support everyday work, from looking up product specifications to checking availability. The platform is currently in development, with a focus on connecting these tasks into a clear, practical workflow.
Building it together
WisqRent is a joint project between Sandquist Media AB and Sandquist Produktion AB, run by my brother and me.
Through Sandquist Media AB, I am responsible for design and development, from the interface people interact with to the systems behind it. My brother, through Sandquist Produktion AB, leads product management, decides which features to build, and contributes to the design.
Less manual product research
Adding equipment often means searching through product pages and data sheets for the same basic details. WisqRent uses a specialized search LLM to look up weight and dimensions using the product’s name, manufacturer, and any additional description.
The helper searches sources such as manufacturer specifications and product data sheets, then fills in the product form. You can review and adjust the details before saving, cutting down on manual searching and copying between pages.

Everyday tasks, in a conversation
The AI assistant gives you a conversational way to work with information across the business. Find equipment, check its availability, look up customers and orders, or ask questions about the inventory without moving between different pages.
It can also help with actions such as creating products or archiving equipment that is no longer in use. The assistant works within your company permissions, with the goal of making conversation a natural part of the everyday workspace.
Keep the whole project in view
A project brings related rental orders together, keeping equipment, quantities, dates, and pricing connected. This gives each order its own details while keeping it part of the wider project.
As plans change, order versioning keeps a record of earlier quotes. A revision starts from the existing order, so you can adjust products and pricing without rebuilding it or losing the previous version.
The vision is a connected workflow from project planning and product selection through to invoicing, with the order information carried through each stage.
